Aris Trinity Football Academy: From Afterschool Fun to Official League Play

What began as a casual afterschool football club at Trinity Private School has grown into something much bigger: the Aris Trinity Football Academy  a dynamic and inclusive training programme that now welcomes not only Trinity students, but also children from other schools in the area.

Today, the academy supports 45 young players, with 22 of them forming two full teams officially registered in the Tigers League under the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). This milestone reflects the growing interest and commitment of our students, staff, and school community to providing high-quality extracurricular opportunities.

The football programme is built on a foundation of professionalism and structure. Players attend regular training sessions led by qualified coaches, undergo medical assessments, and receive official CFA player registration cards. All athletes are equipped with full team kits and follow a schedule of weekly league matches and periodic tournaments.

Since February, the Aris Trinity teams have actively participated in competitive matches — building their skills, teamwork, and confidence through real-world experience on the field. Beyond match days, our students have also had the exciting opportunity to attend professional games of Aris Limassol FC, strengthening their connection to the sport at a national level.

This initiative stands as a testament to Trinity’s broader educational vision: empowering students through both academic achievement and meaningful extracurricular engagement.
